Analysis of samples for asbestos must be undertaken by laboratories which hold NATA accreditation for asbestos fibre analysis. L&D’s laboratory holds accreditation to analyse both building material and soils for asbestos content.

We predominantly utilise our laboratory to support our assessment and surveying services.

Analysis costs start from only $77 inc. GST.

In the ACT only licenced asbestos assessors should collect samples of suspected asbestos containing materials for asbestos analysis. If you do decide to collect a sample of suspected ACM the below guide should be followed.

Using the button below you can download a copy of L&D’s chain of custody form. A form must be filled out and submitted with each batch of samples.
